Mom,
It doesn't feel like a year has passed by without you because I think about you every day. Cleaning out your home was so difficult and sad. But among the tears I had many great moments of laughter with my cousins Anita and Frannie who came and supported me through the process. The house is nearly empty. But I did leave my University of TN sweatshirt hanging in your closet so that you know that a part of me is still there. I love you mom.

It has been a year since you are gone but I still feel you are with us. I sometimes think to phone you as I always did to discuss all the little things going on in our lives. Sundays are my worst day because we spent so many together, eating your great food, laughing, and shopping for stuff we did not need. I don't shop much anymore. I hope that one day we will be together again but until then I have so many memories of you that I will share with our loving family. Everyone that knew you loved you for so many reasons, mostly because you made them laugh. I wish I could laugh like that again. May May I love you and miss with all my heart.
Your little sister, Dotty

Auntie Mary,
Always the life of the party...you could get my mother and Claire to laugh so loud with your wonderfully outrageous sense of humor! Always enjoyed the times spent with the family as you made it so special. Give Grandma my love.
All my love,

To Have Loved You More…
What I wouldn’t give…
To have found the time in my hectic life
Just to pick up the phone or jump in the car
To spend a day loving you
To have experienced your daily routine
To see the little things that made you laugh or smile
To see where you worked, how you played, what you loved
What I wouldn’t give…
To have discovered you were so much more than just my Grandma
To have spent an afternoon going through photo albums
Or hearing stories of the past
To have known the beautiful family that surrounded you
Brothers and sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews, children
Pieces of you that I missed through my childhood vision
To have known the love you gave and nurtured
Uniting a family together, the steadfast glue…
What I wouldn’t give…
To have seen each day as an opportunity to love
To have never taken for granted that tomorrow
Would hold the same opportunities as today
To have not dismissed the many times
You were on my mind
When I failed to pause and let you know
What I wouldn’t give to love the way that you loved…
To mirror the principles and values that you emulated
To cherish all the moments and memories
With such tender care as you bestowed
To know that there is nothing more important
Than the love of family and friends
That this moment is all that is for certain
And the time to love may pass before our eyes
What I wouldn’t give to have loved you more…
To have seen and known you
Mother, sister, daughter, auntie, friend…
And today…
Grandma, I love you even more

Mary, I cannot begin to tell you how much I will miss you. Even in Florida you were just a phone call away.Your friendship was one of my strongest and most valued ones. You were always there for me. The world has truly lost a ray of sunshine that can never be replaced. I will love you always and forever.

Everyone should have as positive a childhood memory as we have going to Grandma's house in Danvers. Amazing spreads of the best food I've eaten in my lifetime, and sitting by the pool. Grandma had a way of making you feel like the world revolved around you.

Auntie Mary, you will, without a doubt be greatly missed. You were one of the "fun" Aunts. Always ready with a great big smooch and lots of laughs. I love you. Please give Dad, Uncle Vinnie, Uncle Bob, Uncle Angelo, Uncle Raymond, Uncle Richie, Uncle Billy, Uncle Bernie, Noni and Grandpa a hug from all of us.
