I was very sorry to recently learn of the death of Peter. He was a true gentlemen with a lovely kind way about him and will be fondly remembered by all the patrons of the Irish Village where he always made people feel welcome.

Ann and family I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Peteie`s passing, our thoughts are with you. I remember many Saturday nights when Mike and I were going together, going to your house for tea. All the talks we had about family. You and Peteie always made us feel welcome.

Dear Lee family,
I was sad to hear of your loss when Sharon called to tell me. My deepest sympathy to the entire Lee clan.
Although I didn't see him often, I'll never forget my trip to Ireland and the gracious hospitality of Pete and Anne when I stayed with them (nor will I forget the big Irish breakfast Pete cooked for me). I am happy to have known him.

To my dear friends, Karen and Dan and to the entire family of Peter Lee.
Though I did not know Mr. Lee I have been blessed with the friendship of Dan and Karen Shea and their children. Often children are an extension of their parents. Based on what I now of Karen, Dan & Co. I can only imagine that Peter Lee was one terrific person who I would have been privileged to know.

There will be countless pint glasses tipped in Mr. Lee's memory over the coming days and nights. I had the privilege and pleasure of Mr. Lee's gracious company on many occasions and I was the better for it. He generously supported our softball team, a group of once young men who have grown much older but who have continued to return to the IV for more than twenty years to enjoy its steadfast geniality. And that is how I will remember him, a steadfastly genial and generous man. As a devoted member of the Irish Village family I am saddened at the passing of our IV patriarch but my spirits are lifted for having known him. May he rest in peace.
