From the Massachusetts State Marine Corps League:
Please accept our deepest regrets and condolences on the passing of former Marine John Saulnier.
There is a poem written by a Marine in the Korean War.
It goes like this,
Do not stand by my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds circling in flight.
Do not stand by my grave and cry ...
I am not there. I did not die.
I am a Marine now and always
protecting and serving our
Supreme Father into infinity.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

We are so sorry to hear about Jack. It brought back fond memories of working with Jack at Hanlon Shoes many years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Saulnier family during this difficult time.
Sincerely, Paul and Rayhme Cleary and family.

Michele, Gabbie and Family,
I was sorry to hear of Jacks death. He will be missed. I loved his stories of how proud he was of his kids and their kids!! He loved his family!!!! I will miss him finding me each time I went to the Chateau for dinner and making himself at home at my table to chat!! He was a great guy!! Sorry I didn't make it to the services. He is in my prayers as is the rest of the family.

Jack will be greatly missed. He was such a positive man with a lot of love for his family and their friends. I remember Jack being a supporter of my lacrosse team at Wooster.
He and Christian would come and cheer us on! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Michele, Nicole, Marc, Christian, Daniele and families:
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
I remember when Uncle Jack came out for the drive to Ohio with my dad to help me unpack at college (and they went on to visit Wooster too).
We enjoyed our time together and we will miss him. Wish we could be there with you this week.
Love, cousins Megan (Saulnier), Michael Mac Gillis, and baby Corbin

Saulnier. What a name, and what a man. I never met Jack, but I have met and am a colleague, and friend of Marcs. Just through knowing Marc I know the apple could not have fallen far from the tree. My prayers are with the family. Keep the faith and keep on!
