Cherise Cox Obituary

Of the North End of Boston, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the MGH in Boston. Beloved wife of Michael Cox. Devoted daughter of Gloria (Landry) Ellis of Maine and the late Lawrence Tracy. Sister of Robert Tracy of Maine. Daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. William A. and Mildred R. (Moulton) Cox of Quincy. Sister-in-law of Maureen K. Cox, William A. Cox, Jr. and his wife Jeanne, Joseph W. Cox and his wife Karen, Brendan P. Cox and his wife Kelly all of Quincy, the late Neil Cox, and the late Patrick Cox and his wife Diane M. Cox of Carver. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Thursday, July 31st at 10:45AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School St., Quincy at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8PM. Interment Private.

Cherise was always the life of the party, especially when it was HER party! I remember fondly the New Years' Eve parties, dinners around the round table, her graciousness, and above all, her laugh. She was a wonderful, wonderful person. The world is a sadder place without her.
