Tom;

I heard the news from my brother Jack. I have the fondest memories of both you, and of course, Claire.
She was one of the most positive spirited persons I ever meet. The world, her world will surely miss her. Thank you again for all your good will and care, when I was a young man back in Hyde Park.

my best regards, during these hard times.

Richard

It is with a smile on my face and a "party piece" in my heart that I think of Claire and the indelible mark that she has left on my heart. May the journey to our Lord be short as you join your brother, and my father, Jack. May Tom, T.D., Paula, Meaghan, & Leah know that Claire's bright light will go on forever in every heart that knew her. With great love and admiration, Paula, Mark, John, Michael, & Timothy Kavolius

Dear Claire:
You have been an inspiration to all of us through your genuine kindness and unconditional love extended to all you meet.

I remember when I was about 10 at Westwood and you insisted the entire family get out in the yard and play wiffleball. You led the "over 75 crowd " down the stairs including Uncle Charlie, Uncle George and even Aunty Mary. The only time "The Babe" ever stopped talking was when she swung the bat for a base hit and raced to first!"

You have always brought fun and excitement to anyone with your wonderful take on life. Your amazing ability to treat everyone special and make them feel important is truly a gift you shared with all of us. Your unrelenting refusal to give up against unbelieveable odds will stay with us always. You and Tom have shown us what true love and committment is all about. You have made a true difference in our lives and so many others. Thank you and God Bless.

God must be very happy to welcome one of his stars home to the "Big Leagues"!.
You will always remain in our prayers until we meet again.

Love always,
Nancy, Kayleigh Emily, Puffy, Ernie,Brandy, Phat Louie & Jaysie" Mc Donald

Dear Tom,
Sometimes it seems like only yesterday that we were shipmates on the President Adams in 1946. Our times together with you and Claire are cherished memories. We are sure that Claire was in Heaven before the devil knew she was dead. What a fine couple you and Claire were for each other. We share in your loss. Love, Bill and Linnie Schanberger

Claire will always be remembered for her warmth and happy disposition. For as long as I've know her she was part of "Claire and Tom." We marveled at their closeness and affection and admired the mutual caring that was so evident in their marriage. I hope Tom is comforted by the knowledge that he was a constant source of happiness for a woman who deserved no less.
