Dear Peg & Family, our thoughts, prayers and wishes are with you during this time. May Uncle John join the Moriarty reunion in heaven, we think there's a great crack going on up there at the moment!
I never did meet my uncle John, but know that my mother talked fondly of him making wooden toys for her as a child.
Interesting what we remember isn't it?
Our love

Dear Peg & Family,
I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. Many of my fondest memories are those spent at the bar and seeing John & Michael serving drinks. They had such a great sense of humor that made all feel welcome to sit at the bar. Those great memories will never leave me. My prayers are with all of you.

Peg and family, I am so sorry to hear about John. I have so many great memories of John. He was always testing my plumbing knowledge and asked me every time I saw him if I could get an electric toilet. I have so many great memories of Sunday mornings at the bar and drives to NH. Even though we have lost contact over the years, I have thought about John and your family often. He will be missed. My prayers are with you all.

To Aunt Peg and all,
I was thinking of Uncle John today and laughing with my memories.
I will miss my first driver's ed teacher (at the age of 12 in the First National parking lot), the rabbit catcher of NH, the uncle who used to shake my hand until my arm was ready to fall off, my boss on Sunday mornings at the bar who would bring me in to help clean and I would end up drinking Coke and eating peanuts after throwing a few cases of empties down the slide, and of course my uncle who would take me to NH and let me sit in the way back of the wagon and stick my feet out the window.
My favorite memory has to be a time about two years ago when we had come up to NH to visit. Uncle John took me down to the cellar and we shared a drink and talked about the family and all that we had been through. It was a side of him that I had very rarely seen and one that I really enjoyed sharing.
There are so many memories, it would take forever to write them all down.
I will miss my Uncle John but I know that he and Michael will be together again and will always be keeping an eye out for us.
With love,
Mikey Walsh

We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And the days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our hearts.
