Marlene Murphy Obituary

Of Nahant, July 31, age 69, passed away peacefully after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward J. "Mike" Murphy. Mother of Gretchen Brien & her husband Paul of W. Roxbury, Susan Gauvin & her husband Dan of Topsfield, and Katherine Locke & her husband Joseph of Lynn. Sister of Michael Lord and Virginia Ladd, both of Wolfeboro NH. Grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Also survived by her two dogs Thor and Gus. Funeral on Tuesday at 9am from the Solimine, Landergan & Richardson Funeral Home, 67 Ocean Street (Rte 1A), LYNN followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nahant. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8PM. Donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure 5005 LBJ Fwy., Ste. 250 Dallas, TX 75244. Directions and guestbook at www.solimine.com.
