Raffaele Cibelli Obituary

77, August 1, 2008, of Peabody, husband of Maureen (Douglas) Cibelli of Peabody, son of the late Joseph and Angela (Fiore) Cibelli, father of Angela Puzzo of Middleton and Phil and his wife Anita Cibelli of Lynnfield, brother of Gigi Cibelli and Rosita Taiani, both of Italy, also survived by seven grandchildren and a great grandchild. He was the father of the late Ralph Cibelli and Lisa Diamond. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the family lot located in Puritan Lawn Memorial, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., PEABODY Facility. Mr. Cibelli worked as a manager for many years at the Polcari's Restaurant in the North End. Dear Mrs. Cibelli, Angela, Phil, & the rest of the family,

May these words of condolence bring comfort in this time of loss. Mr. Cibelli was a good man who was truly loved by those who were priviledged to have known him.

When we were kids, he let us know who the adult was. When we were men, he let us see he was young at heart.

Not one for many words, I remember this exchange on the telephone.

"Hi Mr. Cibelli is Phil home?"
