Dave – I reviewed your Dad’s obituary and attempted to post a comment but was not able to do so. Therefore, I am sending you this note.

Our prayers are with you and your family in this time of grief and great loss. Nothing, we can say can fill the void but perhaps knowing others are thinking about you maybe makes it a little more tolerable.

I will light a candle for Earl this weekend and say a prayer for your family.

I look forward to seeing you when you return. Perhaps we can drink a cup-of-kindness and toast your Dad to remember a life well lived.

Have a safe trip home

Very truly yours,

Scott Michael Tenney

Stacy, David, Elise & Myrna:

I can't even begin to explain how I felt when you gave your eulogies today. They were heartfelt and beautiful. The song Stacy sang was so touching as she fought through her tears. David's stories about his Dad were very special for his two handsome sons. I hope you will always stay as close as you are. It was an honor for Barry and I to be a part of today.

With Love,

Dear Mrs. Leppo, Elise, David & Stacy,

I am very sorry to hear about Mr. Leppo's passing. When I spoke to David last week, I thought about how he was a great father and it was hard to hold back my emotions.

He always made me feel welcome and at home when I came to visit and always found time to discuss the real estate business with me.

I will see all of you soon.

Hugs & Kisses

I wish to send my very deepest sympathies to my wonderful and very special Leppo family. Myrna, David, Stacy and my dear Elise...words could never say what is in my heart. I hold you all near to me and hope i can send you strength in this difficult time. Earl was a hero to me. A second Father in many ways and I will miss him terribly. His phone calls to the office, his unquenchable need for after shave balms! When I think of Earl I cannot help but smile. And that is what I wish for all of you as well. I love you.

I was so saddened and heartbroken when I heard of Earl's passing. My love and deepest sympathy goes out to each of you.

Earl's love and devotion to his family was crystal clear to everyone. You are very blessed to have so many endless and beautiful memories of your beloved husband and father.

I recall first meeting Earl at my summer job at Sidney Hill Country Club in the late 70's. I have a vivid memory of a well tanned and very handsome man with a larger than life personality. What an enormous presence!!!!!

He will be greatly missed -

All my love,
Alison

The closeness and fondness you all had for Earl and he for you is legendary. It will undoubtedly continue eternally. To all the Leppo Clan....
Words mean little at this time - I can express to you the feeling I had every time I walked into the Newton home or Ft. Lauderdale and they were both filled with love, life and amazing energy. Earl and Myrna, you created 3 beautiful children. Stacy is my heart, I love her like my own. Please know she will always be in my life and loved. You made Stacy crazy, happy, wise beyond her years, proud and beautiful. Cudos to you....rest in peace and look for my mum and dad. Have a Johnny Walker, look down on us looking up at you and know we're all doing the best we can.
Love, love, love,
Suz

Stacy:

I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news that your Dad had passed away. You and I have very special memories together. I recall your Dad always having a twinkle in his eye when I would come to the house, which was probably because you told him that I had a crush on him. He was a special person and a strong influence in your life and your family’s life. I know he will be missed. Stay strong and always know that I am there for you. My heartfelt feelings go out to your Mom, David, and Elise.

Dearest Earl,Myrna,Elise, David and my little Stacy,

I am including Earl in my guest book entry because he was, is and will be the Father, Husband and Grandfather of the Leppo family. He has passed away physically, but spiritually he will always live in your/our hearts and memories...as he will for all of your extended family, and friends.

Let's take this time to celebrate his life...recall the funny moments....he could always make me laugh...calling Stacy at 7:00AM when she was staying at my house in Weston, MA.,asking to speak to Rocky... and my having to hear Rocky howl responding to his voice... we would always wait for this moment, it was his little ritual .
The Stern moments.....with that low strong voice... you know you are in trouble..."STACY".

Remembering how he would look at Myrna with such softness and warmth in his eyes in the Newton, MA. Family Room.

How proud he was of Elise and David.
And then, the other joy of his life..his grand children. ( Stacy always showed me pictures of them as if they were her own children.)
I only remember these good moments and appreciate how the Leppo family shared their love with me and always made me feel...as family.

a moment of silence with a heart felt hug as you read this...

Dear Myrna, Stacy, David and Elise,
Please accept my deepest sympathies. I am heartbroken for you and hope that Earl's strength, courage and wisdom will enable you to laugh more than cry as time progresses. One of my most special memories of Earl is how caring and loving he was to me after my dad passed away. He called me into the den in Newton and with the cigar in his mouth told me to sit down. Then with a tear in his eye, he told me how special my dad was and that if there was anything I ever needed, he would be there for me. He gave me a hug and then in his more typical "Earl" voice shooed me out the room to go back and hang with Stacy. I have so many other special memories that we will share soon.
My love to all of you at this most difficult moment. Carolyn

Dearest David, Stacy and Elise...
I only met your dad a couple of times, but was struck by the amount of presence and personality that he had. (David you are exactly like him!!! :o) My heart goes out to you at this time as I know that your father was a driving force in your lives! He is looking down on his 3 children right now and he is saying "I did good!" He looks at his beautiful grandchildren and say's "Good again!!" He looks at his wife and say's "Boy do I know how to pick'em!" I hope this makes your heart smile, that was my intention...
much love always

Dear Myrna, Elise, David and Stacy,

Words cannot express the sadness that I have in my heart for all of you at this time.

When you look up the word patriarch in the dictionary it states "the paternal leader of a family or tribe". This would be one of the top ten words that would best describe Earl. Some of the other words would be adoring husband, devoted father and loving grandfather just to name a few.

I have always admired Earl for his love and devotion to you Myrna and to Elise, David and Stacy and the insatiable love of his two grandsons!!!!

My wish for all of you is that Earl's Love and Strength will live within each one of you and will keep you at peace for today and for always.

With love,
Alan Ginsberg

Dear Mrs. Leppo, Stacy, David, and Elise and to all relatives of the Leppo family-

I am truly very sorry for the loss of Mr. Leppo. I know I should be calling him Earl, but I never got used to that as I knew your Dad at such a young age. He always made me feel welcome in your home which was my home away from home.

See you all soon; I wish under better circumstances but it will be great to see you all again.
