Some of my favorite memories of Gary...
~Ice cream was always a good idea
~The way he would always like to scare the crap out of me when I was in a room by myself and then we would both crack up laughing
~He would alternate taking bites out of each side of pizza english muffins and bagels so it wouldn't get cold
~Always singing in the shower...no matter what the song but especially U2 and Pearl Jam
~My brother knew how to dress and always gave me fashion advice...even when I didn't ask!
~His love for Boston sports...even when they weren't doing well
~Although he only knew her for three short months, he loved Ella more than anything and would be so proud of what a beautiful young lady she is becoming
Gary was the life of the party...while shy growing up, he grew into one of the most social people out there. He always looked for the best in people and difficult situations. There are many more memories and I smile and tear up just thinking of my brother. I know he is looking down on me smiling...he was the best!
I still can't believe you are gone...Miss you and love you more then words.

I even awoke from a dream last week thinking you were still here. Every New Years Eve I think about our night in Brighton and ball my eyes out. And New Englahd sports, where do I begin. It is hard to put into words just how much I miss you. The saying really is true, "you don't know what you had until it's gone". There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about your smiling face and your happy ways. Always running into a room to scare me or eating both sides of the bagel at one time because you didn't want it to get cold. I wish so much you were here and could say you were proud of me. I always think of you when making decisions and how you would handle certain situations. It doesn't seem real that a year has already passed. Your voice so vivid in my mind and seeing you everytime Ella smiles. I want you to know I will always be there for Kristi and Ella and I love them so much. I hope you can see me from somewhere and be proud of me. It makes me so proud to say you are my brother, and always will be. I love you and miss you more then you will ever know. xoxoxo

A real sports fan through and through,
Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics too.
A day at the World Series what a blast,
The end of the game came way to fast.
A true romantic most didn't know,
His proposal to Kristi was quite a show.
Their eyes on eash other on their wedding day,
And you could see that love a mile away.
Instead of Ella taking a nap,
She watched the Red Sox from her Daddy's lap.
A finer young man I never met,
As time goes on I will never forget.
You don't realize how short life can be,

To Erica, Mrs. Stone & the entire Stone Family:
I knew Gary from his days at Marshalls, and I remember his quiet reserve, as well as his shining smile. After reading all of the condolences in this guest book, Gary turned into the man that I expected he would...one to make his family, his wife, and his daughter proud. A life taken too early leaves many questions unanswered, but the legacy he left behind him speaks volumes for the person he was. My deepest sympathy to you all.

I'm shocked to hear the news today of Gary's passing. He and I were great friends in elementry school. We would ride our bikes to each other's house and to school together all the time. My brother was in his brother's grade so we became good friends and stayed in touch through high school. A lot of my childhood memories have Gary in them and always will. As upset as I am, it is good to read the he lived the experience of falling in love, being married, and having a child. It is good to know a piece of Gary will always be on this earth.
