Mom, I'm here to say thank you for the love, dedication, and discipline that you shared with your sons. I'm 67 years old, soon to be 68 years old in 8 months. I don't believe I would have lived this long if it weren't for your loving and guiding spirit, which you instilled in me also. You gave me a life that I wouldn't have had otherwise, based on my early birth years. I've known some peace and how to take responsibility for my thoughts and actions because of the time you took to instill those values in your sons. I'm forever grateful, and I live my life to honor your hard work and love you so easily gave.

Mom, here is some of your wonderful and dedicated work that you lovingly passed on to your family. Thank you for your discipline, dedication, and the never-changing and unconditional love you shared. We love you and I love what you shared with me from early childhood as shown below to the man I am today. I'm alive today because of the love and commitment you instilled inside of me. Your grateful and oldest son, Craig

Thank you Mom for giving me a life, a beginning, unconditional love, and teaching me the meaning of self-respect, love for ourselves (brothers), and others. How to take responsibility for our decisions and actions and to walk with our heads held high by being true to ourselves. You instilled all of these qualities in your sons and I am so grateful to have been raised by you and thank you for loving me. It took me until my early 30's to realize the sacrifice you gave for me and us boys, but it was quite a lesson to learn. I'm forever grateful. I wouldn't be the man I am today if it wasn't for your love, support, and determination that we make something of ourselves. I'm a late bloomer because I had some issues to work out in life, but because of your undying love and discipline, here I stand today, developed, responsible, disciplined and still learning about unconditional love. I want to be just like you when I grow up. Thank you Mom for what you instilled in me and for taking me in and teaching me the meaning of love. I'll always love and carry you in my heart, body, mind and soul. Your Son, Craig... Your life continues in all of us that you touched and gave your life for.

Mother Fontaine though you are not physically here I know in my heart you will always be near. The many talks Craig and I have shared and continue to share about you and your unselfish and amazing love you had for him and the family. I have always been grateful to you for sharing life with Craig and loving him so much you dedicated your years to teaching him and helped him to grow into the man he is today. It is and has always been your love that has inspired Craig to do better in life and not to settle. Thank you Mother Fontaine for holding his hand until now, now I will take his hand from here and together we will teach eachother new things and love eachother unconditionally . Mother Fontaine you are loved and missed ...forever will you be in our hearts and thoughts. Both Craig and I are both better off in life because we knew you... Forever Grateful Rachel

I Pray for the loving family that you left behind. I look forward to seeing you in heaven because I did not have the pleasure of meeting you here on earth. You clearly touched and was a healing hand for many many people. God keep the loved ones you left behind in HIS comfort.

Mrs. Fontaine: My prayers are with you. We talked few times on the phone, but I never had the opportunity to see you in person only in pictures. Rest with the Lord Jesus.

Dear Mom: You're love, compassion and commitment to us children you left behind will never be forgotten. You've taught me love, discipline and what true compassion for others as well as ourselves really means. You will live with me forever and your GREATNESS will be passed on for generations to come, because I'm committing my life to what you've made a reality for me, and, that is, to provide a foster home for others who need help.

Mom ("Booboo") will be missed by her three great grandchildren, Brittni, Dillan and Rhetta Peters and my father Edward O. Gourdin Jr. My husband Winston, and I will miss her loving support, unflagging care and guidance that she so willingly shared. We are all so much richer in spirit for the gift of God's grace in granting us her physical body here on earth. I will miss you Nunnie but know you are but a prayer and a thought away. Rest now. We are together now. Your loving grandaughter-"Lecia"
