Uncle Jimmie was a great family man who I always admired. He was warm and welcoming and you were always aware that he dearly loved his family and Aunt Joannie. He was a big presence who will be greatly missed.

Uncle Jimmy,
Growing up visiting the Gillespies on Clive St. always meant we were in for tons of fun--staying up late, running 'wild', hunting in the attic, happy parents, happy kids. I never wanted to leave. Uncle Jimmy was the lifeblood of it, and Debbie, Bobby and I, I know, all look back to those days with smiles in our hearts. Uncle Jimmy--always smiling, laughing, full of hugs and good cheer--you will always hold a special place in my memories and in my heart.
With love,
Pam

In the rising of the sun and in it's going down........
You will remember him
In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter......
You will remember him
In the opening of the buds and the rebirth of spring.......
You will remember him
In the blueness of the sky and in the warmth of the sun.......
You will remember him
In the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn.......
You will remember him
When you are weary and in need of strength.......
You will remember him
When you have joys you yearn to share.......
You will remember him
So long as you live, he too shall live, for he is a part of you.

I loved my Father so much. He meant so much to many people. My Dad's unconditional love of family and friends is a wonderful gift and lesson that will go on and on thru his children, grandchildren and loved ones. Dad, you taught me so many lessons. I am so grateful to the Lord for chosing you to be my father. I love you , and miss you so much.
Forever, your daughter,
Joann
