Florence Manning

Of Hudson NH died Wed. Aug. 13, 2008 at home. Florence J. Manning, beloved wife of the late Richard E. Manning was a WWII Marine Corp vet. and past resident of Windham. She was involved in many town and church activities, including helping to start the first Cub Scout troop and Headstart program in the town along with volunteering for the Windham school system. She loved camping in Vermont and going on cruises. She is survived by 10 children; Judy Mullins and husband Gerald of Hudson, NH, Frederick Manning and wife Joan of W. Hartford, CT, Margaret Salvas and husband David of Amherst, NH, Dorothy Manning and partner Terri Bryant of St. Augustine, FL, Mary Ritter and husband Gary of Marblehead, MA, Michael Manning of Bartlett, TN, Myra Hogan and husband Sean of Plaistow, NH, Stephen Manning and wife Laura of Cambridge NY, Katie McGurn and husband Scott of Haverhill, MA, Ellen Luithle and husband Mark of Baskingridge, NJ. 14 grandchildren; Jennifer, Andrea, Chloe, Nora, Meghan, Patrick, Stephen, Ryan, Sean, Katie, Aaron, Joseph, Aidan, and Jordan. 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A Sister-in-law; Anne FitzGerald of Newburyport, MA and a brother-law; Thomas Manning of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and also numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Sun. Aug. 17th from 1-4pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., HUDSON. Funeral Mass will be on Mon. Aug. 18th at 9:30am in Blessed John XXIII Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, 27 Library St., Hudson. All Meet At Church. Burial will be at 1pm at NH State Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen.
