To The Family, Mary was a very close friend of my departed mother-in-law and father-in law. I grew to know Mary at St. Rogers & Mary's Chapel in West Roxbury along with her brother, Ralph. They are now together and at peace. I will miss her warm and gentle, caring smile. She was always there to lend a helping hand at church and will be sorely missed.

Mary was the Corner Stone of Harbor View in East Boston. She always updated my mom on the happenings in the neighborhood. when she could not get out due to illness. She loved sitting on my Mom's deck looking at the ocean. She was a wealth of knowledge , and a true friend to all that knew her. We will miss you.

Oh what a "gal">>>lived her long life to the fullest, enjoying each day GOD blessed her with. I will be lost without exchanging letters in the mail with her. A dear and devoted friend, especially to my late mother, sister Ellen, and myself. We love you "little Mary", but know you are already in GOD'S universe with the other little angels!. Love, Marie(Lane) LaSpina.

Mary was such a very special caring person. She was so kind, thoughtful, energetic and full of life. Mary was truly a great friend to my mom (Barbara Ballam "nee" Parker) and to her next door neighbor Ellie Donahue. Mary was a cornerstone of our neigborhood "Harborview" in East Boston. I remember Mary (in her nineties mind you!) walking down the street to bring flowers to my mom who was ill. When she was younger (in her eighties!) she would walk to the beach to have an annual swim. Mary, we miss you. You are in our thoughts and prayers and will always be in our hearts.

Dear Ann, John and Family,
Mary was truly an angel among us. She was always ready to help others whenever possible. Mary was so kind and gentle. She touched so many lives especially the children she taught in the Boston Public Schools. May she rest in peace!
Sincerely,
Paula Neville

Mary and my mother attended Teachers' College togetherand were truly good friends forever. I have always received a birthday card from Mary every birthday since I can remember. She was a wonderful lady, full of energy, and most of all gave me a push when she told me all she was still doing in her letters to my sister, Marie, and I. She will sadly be missed.
