Daddy~

I miss you. A year ago today I realized I would never hear your voice again or see your smile. I only hope you know how much I love you and most of all miss you. Thank you for sending me Baby Rocco, I know when he arrives he will fill part of my heart that was left empty by your death....

Daddy,

It's been almost a year now, and I still can't believe this happened. I miss you so much. You'll always be with me in my heart. I love you forever.

Happy Fathers Day....I miss you and love you so much....

March 14, 2009

Dad~
I miss you so much. It feels like you just left me yesterday. I only hope you have a better plan for all of us, because right now its really hard to keep putting one foot in front of the other. I love you so much and each morning I look in your room and wish you were there, but I know you are at peace now.

Dear Family, Ijust found out and feel terrible. I remember Rocco as a great kid and someone who loved his family very much. he was always kind to all of the neighbors that lived in the building where he grew up I hope that you all find some comfort in knowing how well thought of he was.

Dear Michelle, James and family,

I just found out about Rocco, and am crushed. I can still remember him clumping down the stairs at 4am to go to his hockey practice. Elisa, Michael(also passed away 6 yrs ago) and Joel grew up with all of you and my son Jamie used to play with James and went to MPB with him for a year before we moved.

Michelle and family, I know its a while since he passed away, but I hope this message gets to you, because I sincerely mourn his passing. He was a part of our lives.

Sincerely
Debby McCool(Hecht)1136 River St

To the Coyne family,
My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I am a friend of Rocco's from CYO days. Although I have not lived in HP for quite some time, I do visit on occasion. I often thought of Rocco and the group, particularly when I drove down River street on my way to the square. We spent many Sunday evenings bowling at Rons then heading to McD's afterward.
Rocco was a good kid, and, no doubt a great Dad too.

With deepest sympathy,

Michelle,

I cannot imagine what you are going through but know your mom will be taking care of him (or showing him how to cause trouble).

I could not believe the news when I got the email and still cannot believe it is true.

Rocco always treated me like another sister and I am truly blessed for having had him in my life.

Michelle, you know you got me and I am not going anyway. I am devastated I could not attend the services due to prior obligations and am even more sorry for not being there for you during that time.

I love you and hope you know how special you are to me.

Love Nancy

I am deeply saddened of hearing of Rocco’s passing. We began our friendship at Catholic Memorial. He was also a competitor on the field during his Drum Corp days, as he marched for the Hyde Park Dantes and I marched for the Quincy Renegades. Though we did not see each other much as time went on, the friendship and love was always there. Rocco was blessed with infectious humor and a love of life. He had a generosity of spirit, which is most uncommon. I hope his loving family can take consolation in the many gifts he gave, gifts of deeds and love. Rocco will be missed and remembered for the numerous positive qualities he possessed.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived
okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here
is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up
and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were
gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for
me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's
chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life
on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not
be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But
one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a
time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will
give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day
was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the
way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick
him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in
your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember
you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I can find no words that truly begin to express how I feel. My thoughts of course are with your beautiful children Rock. I know they meant and will always mean the world to you. I know you will be with them and others of us as we continue on our journeys through life without your loving thoughts and opinions. I will miss you and you are and will be forever in my heart. Enjoy the lavender fields. Be at peace.
