Our cousin Alice was a very special lady ! My many fond memories include seeing her proudly wearing her military uniform , in the forties. The family gatherings at Great Aunt Mary and Great Uncle Bill Terzis' home in Belmont every New Year's Day. Each time I, or my brother Bill, or my sister Joan had a new baby, Alice was amoung the first at the door for the Christening parties, and loving them all so ! My most recent memory is when Joan brought me to visit Alice at her wonderful residence in Groveland, and how happy she was there. Well, Alice, Now you are in you new Heavenly home, and my heart is so full , for you are more than happy there !! Till we meet again....
Love,
Joan Proctor

Alice was a great lady who provided a role model to the women of our family. She broke many barriers presented to women in her time and was fearless in her pursuit of the next step to climb.
