BEVERLY LEONARD

September 5, 2008

Dear Eddie. Our lives will just not be the same without you. I think of the wonderful times I shared with you as a little girl visiting nanny when I was off in the summer. We had so many laughs.

I also remember a wonderful week when you and June took me down to the cape, Brewster. Nanny came with us and it was one of the most memorable weeks for me as a young teen-ager.

We can never forget those wonderful Ireland trips with all the family. I have a picture of you and a few others taking a horse and buggy ride on my desk at work.

You are with my father now and God took 2 of the finest men I loved and respected.

Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

All my love,

Your neice

Beverly

Dear Uncle Eddie,

You will always be one of the kindest, gentlest souls I will ever know. You always greeted me with a smile and a hug, and you lit up every room as well as our hearts. I will forever remember our Cape Cod social hours, Ireland trips and all the other great times together!

Perhaps they are not stars, but holes in the sky where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.

All my love,
Patricia

Uncle Eddie,
I can't believe you're really gone from us. No family function will ever be the same without you. I'll miss that sparkling smile and those dazzling blue eyes. Your laughter and warm ways will forever remain in my heart! I know you're with my father now, as well as Nanny and Dutch, having a drink and laughing.

May you touch the face of God and be at peace, knowing you led such a wonderful life.
As I said on your last birthday...to one of the finest men I've ever known! I love you.

Your niece, Kristin
