Irene Farrell Obituary

Of Hyde Park died on August 21, 2008 of complications following surgery for colon cancer. She was the cherished wife of the late Thomas E. "Tucker" Farrell & beloved mother of the late Maureen Farrell, forever in her memory. Dearest friend, mother & grandmother to Nancy Farrell & Luca and Anna Mouforte. Beloved mother & grandmother of Thomas E. & Diane Farrell & Terri Farrell. She was born in 1921 in South Boston the fifth child in a wonderful & loving family of 9 to John & Elizabeth Murphy. She is survived by constant companions and beloved sisters Phyllis "Billy" Stavris of South Boston & Elizabeth "Betty" Ingram of Brockton. She was the beloved sister of the late Celia Barron, Eleanor Morse, Rita Skamarakas, Mary Cella, Joseph & John Murphy also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the Laughlin, Nichols & Pennacchio Funeral Home, 34 Oak St., (corn Maple St.) HYDE PARK Monday at 11 o'clock. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to visit prior to service along with visiting hours Sunday 4-7 PM (Doorman Parking). Laughlin Nichols Pennacchio F.H. Hyde Park 617-361-2410
