Another year.... Another memory! Always loved visiting Rhoda with my mom or both parents. My mom ( Jinnie Flint McLaughlin) and Rhoda were friends since Kindergarten in Montclair. Anyway Crick, Billy and I would go upstairs to their area and laugh and laugh. Billy had an incredible sense of humor and I had such fun with them. Love the Tennermann´s and the memories!

Here´s another memory.... One summer vaca the Tennermann´s rented a home in VT on Lake Champlain and invited us to join them What a wonderful trip! We had so much fun, many laughs, swimming in the cold water, fishing, eating and shopping Maybe Crick will remember buying a battery operated bank that you put a coin in a slot and pushed a button and a hand came up and grabbed the coin... a la Adam´s Family! I thought it was so cool! This house was rustic and in the pines, up from the gorgeous lake- many years later reminded me when I saw On Golden Pond. Sweet memory around 1965 or 66? Love to the family.

Often think of the July 4th parties (BBQs) at Verona house We would be in the yard playing around while adults visited ( does anyone remember reading the horrific story (from Readers Digest )together about the Flying Wallendas when they fell) we would eat the best hot dogs and other BBQ foods and laugh and laugh! Then we would all walk to the Verona fireworks it was a wonderful holiday and wholesome entertainment Tennermann neighbors and Gibson’s , Tichenors, us (Mclaughlins) and Tennermann’s! Americana!! Sweet memory for me for sure!!
Love,
Suzy McLaughlin Wright Emmanuelle ( lots of names- a full life) I hope Crick is reading this It all night make sense to him love you Billy- hope you are in a good place!
You know Rhoda and Bill were my Godparents!

Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with Bill and his family during this difficult time. Bill was instrumental in guiding our family after the passing of my father, Dr. Mehdi Armian, in Jan 1999. My dad knew and worked with Bill for many years and was a wonderful judge of character. Through the years after Mehdi's passing, I got to know Bill closer and saw first hand his integrity, professionalism and spirit.
I'm so sorry that we are denied the blessed presence of our loved ones. It hurts. However, our loved ones memories and spirit remain deeply alive in our daily lives and I wish Bill and his family peace.
Please give my dad a big hug Bill when you see him in heaven. God took you too soon.
Love,
The Armian Family

I grew up in the business with Bill and he taught me to apply life lessons to the art of managing money. He was good at not allowing me to take the business or myself too seriously. I will remember him fondly for his good sense and his good humor. My sincere best wishes to the family.

I work at Associates for Human Services as the Early Intervention Program Director. Bill was on the Board of Directors for a long time and an avid supporter of AHS. I was so saddened to hear about Bill's illness and then his passing away. I am unable to go to his wake tonight, but I really wanted to express my condolences, but more importantly let you know that although we often do not have much contact with the Board of Directors, Bill was different. He was always really concerned for the well being of the agency and always made it a point to ask me how my program and staff were doing. I can't tell you what it meant to have someone on the Board who really cared about the agency. Bill really cared, not just because he was suppose to, but because he was a genuine, caring and honest person. He will be greatly missed. I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy from myself and my program.
Sincerely,
Zulmira B. Allcock

I want to offer my deepest condolences to Bill’s family. I got to know Bill over the many years that he served as my financial advisor. I know that Bill’s family was the most important thing in his life. He and I talked many times when we shared our children’s experiences. I also know that Bill cared for his community and was a person who left the world a better place than he found it.

I am so saddened to hear of Bill's (he will remain Billy to me always) passing as I so recently got somewhat reconnected to him and to his brother Jim. Bill's parents were my Godparents and I grew up with both of these guys. We played at each other's NJ houses and bouced on the beds upstairs, like trampolines, while our parents ate, drank and laughed downstairs. My family vacationed with the Tennermanns in Vermont and they visited us in MD when we moved there for a few years. Billy always had the ability to make us all laugh till our sides hurt. We cried together at the shock and sadness when Bill (his dad) died and tried to keep up the friendships when life had changed so much. We spent many evenings with Rhoda and the boys....as we grew up, went off to college (Billy so tried to convince me to go to Syracuse), and then married. Once Rhoda and Richard moved to PA and out of Verona, it seemed so hard to get together because the guys were up in Mass then. Life drifted apart. I thought of you all often and remained loosely connected to Richard and Rhoda. I made the effort to try to reconnect with Bill and Jim this past year. I hope in my heart that Bill knew I was thinking of him and hoping for the best even if he was unable to respond. I have reconnected with Jim and so very grateful for that.
Strength and peace to Kat and the kids. I have been there as I was widowed in 2004 after my husband (Bob Wright) battled a brain tumor for 15 years. We let go of Bob in pieces. Happily, life does go on and I am now married for the second time (Brian Emmanuelle) and the kids and I have worked through our grief and press on.
Love to Jim, his wife and Rhoda and Richard as they suffer this terrible loss. You are all in my prayers.
