Of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Lexington and Marlboro, MA, Aug. 24, 2008. Wife of the late Jerome M. English. Mother of Laura Crosby and her husband John of Fry Island, ME and Riviera Beach, FL, Linda Stebbins and her husband Dennis of Cape Coral, FL, and Kim Peters and her husband Michael of Lake City, FL. Sister of Janis Quinn of Newton, Donna Tholander of Melvin Village, NH, Betty Lou Annese of Newton, Cora Campisi of Framingham, and the late Louis Giroux, Albert Giroux, Ruth Piotti, and James Giroux. Grandmother of John Crosby. Jr, Jeremy Stebbins, Brian Stebbins, Austin Peters, and Travis Peters. Pyllis is also survived by 4 greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Aug. 30 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., LEXINGTON at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, 5-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice & Community Service, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909. Interment Westview Cemetery, Lexington. We are friends of Linda and Dennis and their gorgeous family. We never met Phyllis but I cannot explain how many times we were uncontrollable with laughter because of the stories - she brought fun into our lives through her strength and spontainaity.
