My dearest Nora:
I address you by the name I knew you as at our first meeting when you were a bridesmaid at a wedding many years ago where my cousin, Christy Vasil - who was greatly enamored of you - was an usher.
Jane and I were so sorry to learn of Mickey's passing, and we send condolences to you and your family.
I had many opportunities to meet with Mickey outside of Albanian circles when we used to see each other at different electronic trade shows. I was always touched by Mickey's friendliness and good will.

Ligor Family:
Until about 3 months ago I was the Director of Northeastern University's School of Engineering Technology.
Roy Dalsheim forwarded to me your message regarding the passing of "Mickey". I would like to extend my condolences to the Ligor family over the passing of this very remarkable physisist, engineer, business man, and topping (I believe) all of this: GREAT TEACHER!
The sciences and engineering in particular are traditionally professions that are best taught by practitioners and who can mentor the students as much as from experience as from textbook facts. I knew "Mickey" only briefly duriing the time that I was the Director of SET but I did see him soo many times come into the office to collect mail and to copy paper work. He would always tell me of the little things that he would do to improve his lecturing, often bringing into class items from his business that would give clear pictures of what he was teaching that evening. I was also appreciative of his donation of equipment to the School some of which I used in my lecturing; so in a very real way he was a my mentor as well for trying to be a more effective educator.
I hope "Mickey" knew how much his students appreciated his effective teaching and the impact that he has on many generations of engineers.
I wish the Ligor family pleasant memories of Mickey as an effective teacher and mentor to our students.
