Aunt Lydia, You were a true "rose" among women. You set a pretty high standard for what a "classy lady" should be... We will miss you and carry the thought of you in our hearts forever.

Aunt Lydia,
They say there is no bond stronger than that between a parent and a child. I tend to disagree with that sentiment.
My Aunt Lydia was not only my Aunt and best friend, but also the supportive “Mom” every child needs to know the difference between what is right and what is not, through our journey of life.
She was only twelve years my senior, but she took me under her wing the day I was born and held on to me until the day she left.
She reached out to me in my shyness and insecurities and made me feel special.
Lydia made us all feel important. That’s why my Aunt Lydia was so, so very SPECIAL to all of us.
Your loving niece,
Janet

I remember Lydia from our old neighborhood in Mount Auburn. When I retired to Cape Cod I was surprised that she also was living here and had joined the Capers Club in Mashpee. It was wonderful to renew old neighborhood gossip. My she rest in peace. God Bless!
