Dear Chris, Your mother was a great lady. I was glad to see she had so many grandchildren and even a great grandchild. Please pass on our condolences to all the O'Brien family.

Dear Chris, I'll see you today but I wanted to sign the guest-book too. I loved listening to stories of your Mom all the years I've known you. You've always spoken so highly of her; her reading, her quilting, her worldliness, her pain and love, and her sense of humor. I felt as though I knew her though we never actually met. I am happy that your Mother lived a long life and that the stories have a peaceful and loving ending for you both.

To Fran, Chris, Mark, And Berta,
I wish I could be with you all, but please know that you are all in my thoughts during this difficult time.
Mama O'Brien was such an inspiration to me when I was young, and I will cherish her memory always. All those Sundays in her kitchen having donuts and milk with the family were the best memories of my childhood. She was a talented and loving woman, and the world is a little dimmer without her.
