Dear Carol,
I'm so sorry to learn just tonight about the loss of your father. Wish I'd known sooner. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. We lost Mel in Dec. 2007 so we understand what you're going through. My sympathy to your Mom.

Mr. Cidlevicz,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN fighting the Japanese in the Pacific during WW II and also for your work with the USS Cassin Young ensuring that future generations of Americans will always remember the sacrifices made by the Greatest Generation to keep our Country Free. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

The USS Cassin Young Assn sends our love and prayers to Cid's Family. Cid was a truly wonderful man and shipmate. The association has lost the last of it's founding fathers. When Cid meets up with Sumner and Dave again in heaven, the stories will start again!!!!
