Dear Mrs. Fiumara,
I write to you as a former student when you were Miss Carraher. You taught public speaking at the Roberts Jr High and I was a shy girl who hated being in front of a crowd. But, your lessons taught me to prepare my remarks ahead of time, and practice them so I'd be much more confident when I had to speak. Who knew that I would need to use those lessons often in my present job? While I still dislike speaking in public, I know I have the tools to do it properly because of you. I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With deepest sympathy...Lisa Evangelista
