Hobart Nelson Obituary

Of Reading, MA August 30, 2008. Husband of Rita (Cunningham). Father of Lynne Lenoir of Somerville, A. Warren Lenoir of Wellfleet, David Lenoir of Arlington, Timothy Nelson of KY, Christina Jordan (Nelson) of NC. Brother of Alberta (Teeny), Russell Jr., Robert and the late Virginia, Margaret and Ethel. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Memorial service at the Church of Our Saviour, 21 Marathon St., Arlington, Thursday September 4, at 7PM. Visiting hours at the Saville & Grannan Funeral Home, 418 Mass. Ave., Arlington Center, Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association. Dear Rita and family,
Pease accept my sympathies for your loss of Hobart. Hobart and I spent many hours "walking the square" together and shared countless stories and laughs. I will always remembers those times.

Dear Rita and the Nelson family. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Hobart. As you know I worked with Hobart for many years he was a great friend and a great Police Officer. We had many laughs together. He will be missed by all of us.
