Jeannie and Rose,
I'm so sorry you lost Jim. Sam Hopwood told me a few weeks ago that he was very ill. Didn't get to see or speak with you at the festival. God Bless

Jim - Although we never got to be close friends, I knew you well enough to know the honest, hard working person of sound character that you were. I always enjoyed your company and smile at bowling and shooting pool. From all of us at the Stadium Mens League - You will be greatly missed.

I went to grade school (St. Patricks) with "Chickie" and, being the two shortest kids around, we danced together a lot. He was a great friend, dancer, and I often wondered what became of him later in life. I extend my sympathy to his entire family.

Family & Friends,
I never knew Jim personally, but I did know him by sight and reputation. He was an outstanding diver on the Cathedral Prep Swim-ming & Diving Team; respected by his teammates and feared by his opponents.
Hopefullly, he will, someday, be included as a member of the Erie County Aquatic Hall of Fame.
I offer my thoughts and prayers.

Kathy, Aaron, Tyler, Aunt Rose, Johnny, Jeanne, Becky and all those who loved Jimmy. My heart is so heavy knowing Jimmy is gone. BUT...I feel his peace. He suffered so much...as you all did watching him. I pray you can cope. I wish I were there so you can feel my love.
