Dear Family,

Am so very sad by your loss. Had tried to connect with Brian since our last reunion...but no response, (prior to his illness). He told me about your mom and I told him about Susan's struggle with Wegener's Disease and finally terminating all procedures.

I so very much wanted to attend the funeral. However, have been very sick for the 3rd time with Lyme and IV at Hosp., post ca lung, etc.

You are in my thoughts and prayers, I observed the time of the service with many fond memories. I worked for an oncologist in St. Louis and am somewhat aware of what Brian went through. It has truly affected me.

I would like to send a Mass Card but have no address? Wish I could have seen all of you...many fond memories.

Missed seeing all of you.

I worked with Brian at New England Rehabilitation Hospital for many, many years. Brian was a friendly person with a variety of interesting stories to tell. He was always most helpful to me and my department. May he rest in peace.

Every Christmas Day...we would hear footsteps on our front porch, the door open, and then a loud "I said hey man!" Uncle Brian always brought the shrimp and was our first guest of the day. We will miss that this Christmas day and every day after that. Thank you for being such a great person, I'm glad to have been able to call you my uncle.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Brian was a great guy, and long ago, one of my hockey coaches.

My best to everyone.

Brian and I became friends when he worked at the Boston School for the Deaf ,although he was a dedicated hockey man he glady volunteered to helped me coach the basketball teams, together we enjoyed success and many good times .We developed a friendship that has lasted a lifetime. Brian put up a courageous battle ..I wish I had been able to talk with him one more time to tell him how much I cherished that friendship.Rest in peace my Friend.
