Rico and I were best friends for over 40 years. We called each other brothers, and loved each other. We shared many a pizza and wine together. He worked for me for many years at my restaurant, Jennys.
I still mourn the man, and will until my last breath.

Rico will be greatly missed by those of us in the North End who always enjoyed his gentle and pleasant company. WE already miss his smile in Alba's on Parmenter Street.

Diane & Jim....So sorry to hear of Rico's passing. You both have been with him until the end and now he will be with you forever. God Bless You and your family. We are praying for all of you.

An amazingly courageous person, Rico was my patient for the past 20 years at the North End Health Center, and a favorite of our staff. He was a fixture in the North End, known and loved by all. Despite his great personal challenges, he valiantly persevered throughout life, taking care of his elderly parents with whom he lived until their deaths, and always fighting to be his best. He did not complain about his misfortunes or dwell on the negative - but tried to be positive even facing his greatest battle this past year. From the staff of the North End Health Center, we offer our condolences. John Foster MD and the NEHC staff.
