So, so sorry to learn of Nikki's passing. Saw her not too long ago. She gave me an update on John and the children. She was a great advocate for children, a wonderful mother, and the good wife. Please accept my condolences.

Niki was a co-worker here at ProMutual for five years. I knew her as a kind person and a smart and dedicated worker. Her supervisor told me that, on her own initiative, she was instrumental in organizing others in her department to meet occasionally to discuss ways to improve their work and discuss problems in common and come up with solutions. It also helped create more unity among people who normally work independently. She is greatly missed by her friends and work family and we extent our deep sympathies to her friends and family.

I, too, am a member of the four-women mother's group that met together over the last 28 years, first as a playgroup to share advice over babies and how to raise them, but then just four adult women who shared all we knew about how to live well. Niki taught me so much with her strength and quiet wisdom and warm smile and concern for others. Her last email to me discussed the importance of reaching out to friends during hard times and how much that can help. She has taught me well and I will miss her -- our get togethers will never be the same. Love to John and Nicholas and Susannah. (I loved your mom!)

I am stunned to learn of Niki's death. She was a dear member of our mother's group that has been meeting for 28 years. She was always a source of support for each of us. We will miss her terribly. My thoughts are with John, Nicholas, and Susannah.

I was very sad to read of Niki Gilsdorf's death. She was a lovely person, always joyful and calm. My thoughts are with her husband, John, and children, Nicholas and Susannah.
