Kerri and Michele,
We are sorry for the loss of your father. He was very proud of his two girls and grandchildren.
I will miss talking Sports with your father at our family parties. We had a great road trip to NY to see a Syracuse vs BC football game during Michele's (Cuse)College days. He got to see the Sox win a World Series and the Celtics and Pats win Championships. Our teams lost a great sports fan.
God Bless,

Uncle Tom, what can I say my thoughts and memories could go on forever? The stories he uses to tell. I sat for hours and listen to them. Reminded me of Festus (True Irishman). It was an honor and a privilege when he came to San Diego to visit. First person I called when the Red Sox won there first World Series. Great Uncle, Great Person will be missed, but not forgotten. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers……… MY UNCLE TOM

TJ,
You were more to me than a father in-law. You were a friend, a confidant and someone I felt very comfortable with getting advice about life from. I'll miss our daily conversations about sports. I sorely miss you and have felt your loss deeply. My consolation is that you no longer have to deal with all the pain and suffering that you were faced with.

Katie and La La always looked forward to going downstairs to see Grampy so they could give Maize a bone and see what kind of treat you had for them. Your door was always open for them and you always had a ready smile or hug.

I and everyone else are most impressed with how well you did in raising two wonderful daughters, Kerri and Michelle. As you told me in one of our talks, your most important job in life has been completed.
Love,
Dave

September 22, 2008

Tom,

We will both miss you a great deal. Our son Dave and you had a special relationship that very few in-laws share and that was a testament to your warmth and caring. Virginia of course will miss being called "Nurse Ratchet" among other things. We both know that Maize already misses you. And Bob has always admired your wry sense of humor and your ability to ignore the trivial.

Love from both of us and see you there, we hope,

Bob & Virginia

Dear Kerri and Michelle,
I will always be grateful to your father for opening up his home
and treating me like a daughter, when I needed it. I'll always remember our dinner time talks and afterwards, listening as he and your mom talked about his day (while we watch Little House on the Prairie!). I'm sure he will be reunited with your mom once again and they will be having lots of talks and he will be loving every minute of it!
Lots of love,
Janice

Tom, I remember the days when you would come home to our house on Manning St. with your little brown bag of goodies. Even if you didn't share we still loved you. Thanks for helping lads - you hired Billy the summer before he left for college. Sent him on a one hour errand that took three hours. You should have given him hell. When Pat decided to attend Bay State you were there for him. I will always appreciate that. Your second oldest sister, Love, Ellen

Well they built the Titanic to be one of a kind, but many ships have ruled the seas
They built the Eiffel Tower to stand alone, but they could build another if they please
Taj Mahal, the pyramids of Egypt, are unique I suppose
But when they built you, brother, they broke the mold

Now the world is filled with many wonders under the passing sun
And sometimes something comes along and you know it's for sure the only one
The Mona Lisa, the David, the Sistine Chapel, Jesus, Mary, and Joe
And when they built you, brother, they broke the mold

When they built you, brother, they turned dust into gold
When they built you, brother, they broke the mold

They say you can't take it with you, but I think that they're wrong
'Cause all I know is I woke up this morning, and something big was gone
Gone into that dark ether where you're still young and hard and cold
Just like when they built you, brother, they broke the mold

Now your death is upon us and we'll return your ashes to the earth
And I know you'll take comfort in knowing you've been roundly blessed and cursed
But love is a power greater than death, just like the songs and stories told
And when she built you, brother, she broke the mold

That attitude's a power stronger than death, alive and burning her stone cold
When they built you, brother

My memories of my brother Tom: As a boy Tom offering a younger brother advice and guidance. As a Marine sharing the es sprit de corps, all us Marines feel. As a man: Working hard to provide for those we love, handling whatever life throws at you, be it illness or the death of a loved one. As a husband and father: Love of family and making any sacrifice for their well being.
Tom, you did a good job. We loved you and we'll miss you. SEMPER FI, RICHIE>
