Hope S. Berezin

BEREZIN, Hope S. (Shientop) Of Belmont, formerly of Newton, on Sunday, September 21, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. For 60 years, she was the beloved wife of Dr. Norman L. Berezin. Devoted mother of Ellen Berezin & her husband Lewis Shepard of Chestnut Hill, James P. Berezin of Sharon, Frederick Berezin & his wife Kathy of Switzerland, and the late Dr. Andrew F. Berezin. Loving grandmother of Daniel & Samuel Shepard, Jacob Berezin, and Adam & Jared Berezin. Loving sister of Joyce Karl of West Covina, CA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and loving friends. Member and past president of the Beth Israel Hospital Nurses Alumni Association, a founding member of Temple Shalom in Newton, and a noted artist and avid golfer. Graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham St., Sharon, on Tuesday, September 23, at 10:45am. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at the home of Ellen Berezin & Lewis Shepard, on Tuesday until 4pm, and continuing 7-9pm with minyan service at 7pm, and Wednesday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm.
