You taught us to have fun and sing Happy Birthday to ourselves twice while washing our hands. It's taken me awhile to understand it's the simple things that are most important. You were the best nursing instructor a guy like me could've had and I'm very grateful God put you in my life. Thank you Anna, passing on your teaching best I can. Appreciate and love you very much.

I am so lucky to have started my journey into nursing with Anna. She was a hugely impacting professor and emphasized the most important thing about nursing: compassion. I hope to someday have even a fraction of the integrity and passion she embodied.

I was saddened to hear of Anna's passing. She was my fundamentals teacher at Somerville Hospital SON, cheerleader, friend and colleague at Lahey Clinic. Always with a smile and she showed joy at her students success. She loved family church and life. I was lucky to have known her.

Dear Jim, Mary Beth, Mary Jo and family,
Anna was one of the loviest human beings I have ever known. She consistently saw the best in others, focused on the positive, gave generously, lived life to the fullest, not only shared her faith but lived her faith. She was the most wonderful Godmother my daughter, Jen, could have ever had. She was a grand role model to her friends and students. Anna spread love wherever she went. Jen and I have been so very, very Blessed to have Anna in our lives. She continues to be our guide, from a better place now. Words cannot express the appreciation I have; for I am a better person because Anna was the influence that she was. Anna had wisdon beyond years, she embraced life completely, and never seemed to tire. The world is a better place because Anna lived. Thank you all for sharing your mom, wife, sister and grandmother with all the rest of us.
With love,
Diane P.
