George Cotto Obituary

COTTO, George H. Of Braintree formerly of Jamaica Plain, Sept. 20th, 2008 at age 79. Beloved husband for 51 years to Constance E. "Connie" (Treska) Cotto. Devoted father of Richard G. Cotto and his wife Beverly Ann of Feeding Hills, MA and Kimberly A. Cotto of Killington, VT. Cherished grandfather of Gregory, Michael, Joseph and Laura. In addition he is survived by his loving extended family. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, BRAINTREE until 10AM on Wednesday followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint John the Baptist Albanian Orthodox Church, 410 W. Broadway, South Boston at 11AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree. George was born in Boston, grew up in Jamaica Plain and moved to Braintree in 1970. A graduate of English High School and Boston University, he was a United States Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the Braintree Art Assoc., and in his spare time he enjoyed helping others and was a true humanitarian to the immigrant Albanian Community. He loved his family especially his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Bay State Dr., Braintree, MA 02185. To my extended family,
Connie,Richard and Kim I am so so sorry to hear about George. By chance I was checking the obituaries and came across his, I am so shocked. I have been away from the family for a while so I have lost touch, I wish I could be there. We are in Bangladesh Tito and I. I miss you all and love you even more you are my family and I am so sorry that I am away from you.
