Nancy Dannies Obituary

DANNIES, Nancy Harper Of Madison, New Hampshire died on Tuesday, September 23rd at age 88. Nancy was born in Alameda, California, to Henry and Minnie Bell Crowe Harper, and was a sister to Marjorie Wilbur. Nancy was the loving wife, of 66 years, to Robert Bowen Dannies, and devoted mother to four children: Robert, Jr., Mary, John Frederick and Martha. Nancy graduated from Northfield Seminary for Girls, Northfield, Massachusetts and Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; she was an active member of the Junior League in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Boston, Massachusetts; the chairwoman of the Cohasset Gold Club women's team and the chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Madison, NH Library. Her life was one of service to her family, her community, and her church. Memorial service at Christ Episcopal Church, North Conway, NH, on Saturday, September 27th at 2:00 P.M. Friends may call at the Madison Public Library, Chick Room on Friday, September 26th, 6 - 8 P.M. Memorial donations may be sent to the Madison Library, P.O. Box 240, Madison, NH 03849 and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 685, Southbridge, MA 01550.
