Dear Pa,

You were one of my best friends. I will miss you so much and always love you. I will miss our chats at the "Ranch." There are so many people that were proud of you. You were a great man and I am SO proud to call you my grandfather. I will see you again someday and I will miss you everyday until then.

Love always and forever,
Peaches

To Steve's family,
I was so sorry to hear of Steve's passing; I always looked for him on my frequent visits to Golden Pond to visit my Dad, a fellow resident. He always made me laugh, and I will very much miss chatting with him in the lobby.

Sheila and Family: I am sorry for your loss. Steve will always be my best neighbor and friend. I miss your Dad stopping to talk, and the bag I got after he had dinner at the Chateau. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Lt. Ruane,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the U.S. Armed Forces and secondly for the citizens of Newton when you served with the NFD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Ruane family,
My mother is a resident of Golden Pond and I came to have many wonderful conversations with Stephen. Being a fellow Red Sox fan, we always had plenty to talk about. I will miss his sense of humor. Please accept my sympathy at this difficult time. Sincerely, Barbara Sharkey
