Mrs Spinosa,
I am so sorry for your loss. I had Mr. Spinosa as a 9th Grade Civics teacher during the 1974-1975 school year and he was wonderful. He will be sorely missed.

Mrs. Spinosa,
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. He was an inspirational teacher. He awakened an interest in history and politics that shaped which graduate schools that I went to, made me decide to teach history for a year, and enriched my life. I was very lucky to have met your husband and had him as my teacher.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of my favorite teacher from high school, a genuinely caring man. If students today are not interested in history, it is because they did not have a teacher like Mr. Spinosa.
