Richard Burwell was my uncle and godfather, and there could have been none better. Uncle Dick's time on earth was full of living, loving, and giving. After he retired from work, he traveled much of the world with his wife. He had a caring relationship with her, as well as family and relatives. My favorite uncle took much interest in and was very generous to me and my family. He was open with his understanding mind and kind heart. He was smart, warm, fun and funny. Uncle Dick was brave and strong during his long trial of suffering from cancer. I miss talking to him. I loved him. He was the very best. Cheers, Uncle Dick.
