I just found out about Mr. Tuck's passing away. I met Steven Tuck back in the 60's when we played in our first band together. I got to know the whole family as if they were my own. His parents were always so nice to us whenever we played at their house. I kept in touch with Gary and Steven for many years afterwards. My sympathy goes out to the whole family.

My dad had told me a story that my papa had a dream that he was dancing with my nanny because he really loved her but she had died of cancer 1 and a half years ago and ever since she died my papa was very sad. When i woke up the next morning i heard that my papa was going to breakfast with his freinds so before he left I gave him a big hug and kiss and before he left my last words to him was I LOVE YOU when he left 2 hours later he was going to my football game but my papa was not back in time to see me play so we left and my mom had reaceived a call that my papa was in an accident then my heart was racing 1,000 miles an hour so we had to go all the way back to my house that way my mom could see him about a week later it was my birthday and on that day he had died but that means he was the closest to me and i love him so much one more thing is that he taugt me how to play poker and we would always play it of course he had won and me and him would always watch western movies together but to get to the point I LOVED HIM and i always will

I miss you more than words can say, you were the last link to my mom and i will never forget you boob!!! You were the best father and grandfather ever to be, and your daughter and favorite grandchildren will forever remember him always and 4-ever. We all know this to be true due to the fact Dad/Papa lived with us for the last 4 months of his life, we will treasure all the memories we had with him that NO-ONE could ever have had, and that was Dads choice!!!!! Ed, my dear husband drove back with Dad from Florida and they had many talks and special moments, again that no-one could ever duplicate. We also enjoyed having Dad attend Tony Bennett and he sang every song along with him while in the audience. Ed also enjoyed taking Dad to Connecticut gambling at the Mohegan, they again had alot of father and son-in-law time. His last night before his accident he enjoyed a wonderful barbeque ate ribs and had margueritas infront of a bonfire, he was a real trooper and also taught his grandson Brad how to play poker, now my son is a real gambler, because of Papa!! My children enjoyed there Papa from birth on up and spent most of his time with the Gidney's and we totally enjoyed him every moment that he was here. For all who were at the funeral I am truly sorry for the indiscretion of Stuart Tuck for stating step grandchildren when in fact we all know better. He was a wonderful father and a truly wonderful Papa to Michelle and Bradford Gidney. Thanks for all the memories and love shared between Ed, Rhonda Michelle and Bradford and also Kipper and Gizmo.
Love 4-ever & ever
Rhonda (your daughter)(Mendon,MA)
P.S. I also would love to commend the Nipmuk Warriors for dedicating the rest of the season of football with an American flag on the back of there helmuts in memory of Brads Papa, and the lovely dedication they made to my family with the last game that Brad's papa had been at and he will treasure the picture and the letter and the memorial tree of our choice to be planted in our yard in memory of my dad and Brad's PAPA!! Thank you all and to all of my mom and dad's friends who kept in touch with me thru such a trying time.
