Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Lorraine, Jeannie, and Family,
Please accept my most sincere condolences regarding your Father's passing.
I was deeply saddened to hear this news as I was arriving in Western Canada and will be unable to get home in time for The services.
I hope that you can find some solace in the fact that your father had an extremely full life and a significant impact on a large number of people who loved him dearly.
At The End of The Day; that is about all any of us could hope for.
