Thelma Garnett Obituary

GARNETT, Thelma (Murray) Of Framingham, formerly of Cambridge, October 3, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of 56 years of Harry L. Garnett of Framingham; Dear sister of John Murray, Jr. and aunt of Jacqueline McLoud, both of Eugene, MO. Mrs. Garnett was a graduate of Boston University, undergraduate 1948, masters 1950, and was an educator at the Bennett-Hemenway School in Natick for 31 years before retiring in 1988. She was a longtime member of the Mass. Teachers Association. Private services with interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge will be held at the family's convenience. There are no visiting hours. Boyle Bros. Funeral Home of Framingham assisted with arrangements.

Harry, Our most sincere condolences on the passing of Thelma. She was a lovely and caring woman. She had been so wonderful to my mother and both of you were dear friends to her for many years. Our thoughts are with you.

We both knew Thelma well, she worked at the Bennett Way School, with Gordon for years.He thought so highly of her.We are formely from Cape Breton, Canada, but have lived in Natick and Holliston for many years before moving to Florida to retire.Gordon knew Harry too, Gordon wants you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
