Barbara Dion Obituary

DION, Barbara E. Age 69, of Boston, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Daughter of Ann H. (Kalinowsky) Dion of Peabody and the late Ernest W. Dion. Sister of David R. Dion of San Francisco CA; niece of Richard Dion of St. Petersburg FL, Josephine Kalinowsky of Peabody and Marie Kalinowsky of Salem and dear friend to many. Her family will received relatives and friends on Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., (downtown location) PEABODY. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. A family committal of ashes will be held on Friday. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Barbara's memory to St. John the Baptist Elementary School, 17R Chestnut St., Peabody 01960. I have just learned of Barbara's passing . You have my deepest sympathy and condolences. We had many good times together, especially at the Greek festivals .I will miss her. I had been out of touch since my September surgery.
