Mary Apicco Obituary

APICCO, Mary C. (Delia) 84, wife of the late Michael Apicco, died at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell October 6, 2008. She was born in Boston, June 27th, 1924, a daughter of the late Michele Delia and Philomena (Plescia) Delia. She was a graduate of East Boston High School and was a longtime resident of East Boston, recently residing in Lowell. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Atlas Furniture in Chelsea, MA. Mrs. Apicco is survived by a son, James Apicco and his wife Ellen of Westford, a daughter, Ann Marie Ellis and her husband Mark of Herndon, VA, six grandchildren, Daniel, Michael and Julie Ann Apicco, Erica Rago, Stephen Apicco and Derek Wohlman, two great grandchildren, Evan and Ashlyn Rago, two sisters, Gilda Alimonti of Saugus and Anna Odierno of Peabody, and also by many nieces and nephews She was mother of the late Robert Apicco and sister of the late Anthony (Tom) Delia. Visiting hours at the Healy Funeral Home, 57 North Main St., WESTFORD, MA on Thursday from 3-7 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine's Church, 107 North Main St., Westford, MA. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, MA. Funeral Director J.A. Healy Sons, 978-692-6502.
