Robert Mullen Obituary

MULLEN, Robert H. Of Brookline, October 4, 2008. Predeceased by his parents & siblings, Mr. Mullen is survived by his nieces, nephews & dear friends. A Korean War Veteran serving with the 224th Inf. Regt. 40th Div. He received the Korean Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, the UN Service Medal and a Combat Infantry Badge with Overseas Bar. A Mass of Christian Burial will held in Chapel of Maristhill Nursing Home, 66 Newton St. Waltham, Thursday at Noon. Interment with Military Honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Thursday @ 2:30 p.m. Information available at: brascofuneralhome.com. Mr. Mullen,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Korea fighting Communism as a member of the 40th Infantry "Sunshine" Division. Because of you and your fellow servicemen, millions of people of in South Korea have been able to live in freedom and also be one of the of the most prosperous nations in the World. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
