William Dyson Obituary

DYSON, William Brindle Passed away on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 88 years of age. He was born in Bolton, England and immigrated to the United States in 1948. He received an Associates Degree in accounting from Northeastern University. Mr. Dyson worked as a computer programmer, primarily at Honeywell, Inc. He was a lover of books and reading and was a lifelong learner, attending and organizing many adult education classes over the years. He was a long time member of the Presbyterian Church in Needham, where he served both as treasurer and elder. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret (MacDonald) Dyson, brother Jack Dyson of Ellensberg, Washington, daughter Gwenn Dyson Wildman and Robert Krawiec of Sandwich, MA, daughter Susan Hankinson and Thomas Hankinson of Leverett, MA, and grandchildren Sarah and Raymond Wildman. The Burial will be private. A Memorial Service and reception for friends and family will be held on Friday, Oct. 10 at 11 AM at the Needham Historical Society, 1147 Central Ave., Needham. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Memorial Fund at the Presbyterian Church, 1458 Great Plain Ave, Needham, MA 02492.
