Mr. MacDonald,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Europe during WW II fighting the Germans as a member of the 8th Infantry "Pathfinder" Division. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I only met Paul when I was a very small child, and I never really got to know him. However, I feel like I have always known him.

Rest In Peace,
Josh MacDonald

And when he gets to Heaven, To Saint Peter he will tell: "Another soldier reporting Sir, I’ve served my time in hell."
