Jane, Laura, Lisa and Michael,

Ed and I were so sorry to hear about Jim. We know that you will all miss him very much.

We will always remember all those parties, fishing trips, and fun we had years ago. The Derby Party was always a highlight of the year.

I wouldn't have Ed with me today if it were not for Jim. Jim saved Ed when he went overboard off our boat at the mouth of the North and South Rivers.

Our prayers are with you now.

Words can not express our sadness at the passing of Jim. Jane, Laura Lisa and Michael, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. We will always remember Jim greeting Joyce with a big smile and saying "Hi Beautiful!" We know he greeted everyone like that but it sure made me (Joyce) feel good!!We always knew he was happy to see us and we were always happy to see him.We are thankful that he wasn't in any pain as this horrendous disease progressed. But we all know the pain that his loving family endured. Jim will always be with you.

Jane and Laura:

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Jim. Try to treasure the time you had with him rather than dwelling on the loss of his passing.

I only met Jim a couple of times, but I very much enjoyed our conversations on those occasions.

Jane: I'm glad you and Jim were able to spend 4 years of quality time travelling the country together before he was stricken.
