Rosemare Comalli Obituary

COMALLI, Rosemarie (DiPalma ) Of Walpole, formerly of Popponessett Beach, age 78. Died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday Oct. 8, 2008 after a brief illness, wife of the late Joseph D. Comalli OD. Devoted mother of Lisa F. and her husband Daniel O'Neill of Wellesley, Carol A. and her husband Robert Blood of Norwood, Robert S. and his wife Sharon Finelli of Newtonville, Thomas E. and his wife Karen Finelli of Southborough. Stepmother of Tina C. and her husband Christopher McCusker of Westwood and Gail E. and her husband Daniel Schreiner of Portsmouth, VA. Sister of Catherine Finelli and James DiPalma of Sudbury and Ann Kelly of Ashland. Loving grandmother of Kevin, Jared and Daniel O'Neill, Amanda Blood, Sarah and Ryan Finelli, Catherine and Anna McCusker, Laurie & Kendyl Finelli and Danielle Schreiner. Funeral from Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common St., WALPOLE, Monday morning at 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday evening 3-7. Rosemarie loved cooking for her family and spending time with her 11 grandchildren. She enjoyed her book club, shopping with her sisters, Mah-jongg, and her time on Popponessett Beach. Tom, Karen and Family: We are so sorry for your loss. She was a great lady (and wonderful cook) We were always thrilled to be invited over when she was at your house, knowing the feast we were likely to get!! Be strong and know she is up in heaven cooking for Joe again.
