Grassa Family:
We are so very sorry to hear about Joe's passing. We just heard about it today, and we couldn't believe it. Joe was our family barber. From first starting on Norwood Street to moving up on Broadway, we always loved going in to talk and see Joe, and catch up on stories of his children and grandchildren. Joe started cutting my son's hair since he was 3 years old, he is now 13. I still remember the pride Joe had in his own son Matthew. Matthew was the basis of every conversation. I only met Matthew once, but I feel like I knew him well, based on Joe's eagerness to share Matt's next accomplishment. I will also remember the passion Joe shared in saving a dollar. Joe's passion for coupon cutting was always commendable. He will surely be missed by our entire family.
May you all be blessed with his love and memories, and know that he was a wonderful, caring man.
All our love and sympathy.
