James Macero Obituary

MACERO, James A. Of Medford, and formerly of Somerville, October 10, 2008. Beloved husband of Elaine (Sullivan) Macero. Loving father of Jean Marie Macero of Medford. Brother of Daniel N. Macero, Mary H. Macero, Nancy Perno, all of Somerville and the late Cosmo Macero. Also survived by several nieces, nephews grandnieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph Church, Medford Wednesday morning at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Church, 114 High St., Medford, MA 02155. Veteran US Air Force, Korean War, Late employee, City of Somerville School System for 25 yeas. Arrangements by the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, SOMERVILLE.

Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USAF during The Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I missed seeing Jim after he left the Bedford VA Med. Ctr. and went to W. Rox. I tried to get info on him but to no avail. I was told last year that he had passed on. He was a class guy and in our relationship over the past 15 years I never heard him complain. Our talks were always upbeat !!!! My best to his wife and daughter and other family members. He's up THERE for sure .
